Because Compressors can be substantial unwanted noise radiations and pulsations within the piping system SILEO offers a complete range of silencers to provide optimum noise attenuation.





Absorptive type silencers are designed to reduce the noise at the inlet and outlet of high speed dynamic compressors. These compressors produce a certain noise signature in high frequencies and SILEO silencers must be engineered specifically to handle this frequency spectrum with a minimum of pressure drop.

With our developed computer assisted custom design,we optimize :

Reactive silencers are designed to eliminate pulsations within the piping system , generated by rotary postive blowers. Pulsation control reduces the pressure amplitudes and avoids resonance of the pipe-work . Absorptive section achieved by porous acoustic internal lining decreases noise levels in medium and high frequencies.
Combination of the two principles cancells noise radiation of the piping system.

SILEO has developed a computer reactive silencer calculation which adjusts internal volume and chokes tube design.
It gives attenuation by octave band and optimizes the right silencer for the best acoustical guarantee.
Our capability to analyse pulsation distribution across piping systems permits to properly design the reactive silencer to achieve the desired effects at minimal cost.

SILEO Gas pulse traps are designed to eliminate pulsations in gas or vapor lines caused by reciprocating or rotary compressors.

SILEO Pulsation dampeners are effective over a broad band of frequencies and used on the suction and discharge of compressors.

Performance are custom designed to reduce pulsation levels from any stage of a compressor to a level acceptable to the requirement of API 618.

For complex compressor systems SILEO is able to offer a complete piping analysis using a full active pulsation study (numerical).
